| IMETUM and ITM AG enter into scientific collaboration |

The Technical University of Munich’s Central Institute for Medical Technologies (IMETUM) and the ITM Group have initiated a collaborative scientific program “BetaTop” with the objective to study and explore the therapeutic effects and healing mechanism of Beta Radiation (i.e. Rhenium-188) in the treatment of Skin Cancer and Re-Stenosis Therapy in endovascular treatments. The Program is intended to address the macroscopic, microscopic and cellular aspects of Beta-Emitter and Topical Therapies and will be performed in collaboration with a group of leading medical and scientific institutions involved in the development of Epidermal Radioisotope Therapy and Endovascular Therapy. |
